Today (21 November 2024), "Police Modify" officially opens in cinemas nationwide. It is the first film co-presented by Mungkon Film Co., Ltd., produced by Social Entertainment, and written and directed by Joe Social (Nattaporn Phroetkaew).
The story follows Joe and his three best friends, Doctor Ong, Bak Mad and Suea Mek, who set up "Police Modify Co., Ltd." after Hia Lay, the owner of a used-car lot whose car has been stolen, puts up the money for them to catch the thief in place of police who won’t do their job. Before long, a small case drags the whole team into a modified-car gang and a criminal network far bigger than they imagined.
"Schools can be private. Hospitals can be private. So why can’t police stations?" The film’s tagline captures the satirical humour of Joe Social’s style, blended with street-racing action shot on location in Udon Thani and neighbouring provinces.
The Mungkon Film team thanks the crew, the cast and everyone in Udon Thani who supported the months-long shoot, and invites you to catch the film at a cinema near you.
